Jannik Sinner overwhelmed Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in the 2026 Wimbledon men's semifinals Friday, dispatching the 39-year-old's bid for a record 25th Grand Slam title in clinical fashion. The defending champion will face Alexander Zverev in Sunday's final after the German dismantled British wildcard Arthur Fery 7-6(0), 6-2, 6-4. Sinner's performance on Centre Court left little doubt, though Djokovic showed sparks of his former self with delicate drop shots and a fizzing forehand. Despite the loss, Djokovic vowed he plans to return for at least one more Wimbledon, insisting he remains capable of competing at the highest level even as he approaches 40.

Zverev's win marked his return to a major final just a month after capturing his first Grand Slam at Roland Garros, while Fery's unlikely semifinal run—as a wildcard ranked outside the top 250—captured the tournament's imagination, with thousands gathering on the slope behind Centre Court to support the 23-year-old. On the women's side, Linda Noskova and Karolina Muchova will contest an all-Czech final Saturday. Meanwhile, Cruz Hewitt, son of former champion Lleyton, reached the boys' final without dropping a set, becoming the first Australian to reach that stage in a decade. Next week brings the Wimbledon finals and the remainder of the draw.
