S. Bejlek captured the 2026 Abu Dhabi (WTA) title this week, defeating Ekaterina Alexandrova 7-6(5) 6-1 in a decisive performance. Bejlek's command in the second set underlined her control of the final, sealing a significant 500-level title on hard court. The victory marks a strong statement as the tour moves toward its Asian and European swing. Away from Abu Dhabi's marquee event, Sorana Cirstea and K. Boulter both captured 250 titles to round out the week. Cirstea dominated Emma Raducanu at the 2026 Cluj-Napoca (WTA) clay tournament, winning 6-0 6-2 in a one-sided affair. Meanwhile, Boulter turned in a strong effort at the 2026 Ostrava (WTA) indoor hard event, outlasting T. Korpatsch 5-7 6-2 6-1 after dropping a tight opening set. The three title runs represent a solid week across the WTA circuit as players build momentum heading into February's bigger events. Attention shifts next week to the 2026 Doha (WTA) 1000 and the 2026 Rotterdam (ATP) 500, both kicking off in the opening days of February.
